Shop local vendors and enjoy the free, outdoor Eddie Durham Jazz Fest from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 21 in Eddie Durham Park, 205 Martin Luther King Dr. in San Marcos. Eddie Durham was a gifted jazz guitarist, trombonist, composer, and arranger in the swing era. The event is organized by the Calaboose African American History Museum.

Attend the Día de los Muertos event from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the  Moody Amphitheater, Waterloo Park in Austin, TX. Visitors will also enjoy free live music, dance performances, calavera face painting and a Latinx artisan market as well as live artists and  muralists.
